4L President and ULAP Assistant Secretary General Vice Governor Kaye Revil, along with ULAP Executive Director, Bernardino E. Sayo, and the Executive Directors and Representatives of the local government leagues, attend the Inter- Agency Task Force (IATF) on Federalism Structure on Regional and Local Governments Cluster meeting today, 05 March 2019 at DILG Napolcom Building, Quezon City. This is the first meeting of the cluster. It is expected to discuss the draft Bayanihan Constitution proposed by the Consultative Committee.
As an overview, the Consultative Committee was created pursuant to EO No. 10, s.2016, tasked to conduct the consultation and review of the 1987 Constitution.
Meanwhile, the IATF is established through Memorandum Circular No. 52 under of the Office of the President. The primary function of this Task Force is integrating, harmonizing, and coordinating ongoing efforts towards Federalism and constitutional reform.
